the road closures and dreadful location really put a damper on my 2-night stay. i'm amazed that this hotel gets away with its clientele—definitely a sketchy vibe! i almost thought, maybe they would upgrade my room because of the inconvenient trek, but nope. just a set of regrets, quite underwhelming. not worth the hype.

Staying here was more about the location than luxury, as the rooms felt quite dated. Being so close to a metro station made getting around Montreal easy, which was perfect for checking out attractions like the Old Port and La Ronde amusement park. The best part was finding a comfy bed to crash in after a long day, and the fridge in the room was a nice touch. Just be warned that the breakfast options were quite limited, mostly just some oversized muffins.

My room was clean and the bed comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. While parking is available for a fee, it’s actually a great deal considering the parking situation in downtown. However, the overall appearance of the hotel leaves much to be desired. The lobby carpets smelled stale, and during my stay, staff at the front desk could use some serious customer service training. I faced a frustrating check-in process, where an employee became agitated with another guest. Also, on the first night, loud noises from the street kept me awake, definitely not ideal for light sleepers. The breakfast options were limited too, so heading out for a bite might be wiser. Overall, it’s a decent choice if you’re looking to save a little, but manage your expectations.

We had a pleasant stay with our adult kids. The location was a major plus, and we found parking to be quite affordable. The AC worked well, and the overall cleanliness was commendable, which made our family adventure enjoyable.
My children wished for better soundproofing between rooms.

Just a fine choice for a date night in Montreal with the best value for money ratio. The room was clean and the bed was comfy enough for a good night’s sleep after walking around all day. Best to arrive early to avoid street closures nearby.

Just a good pick for a rapid stop in Montreal with good value for cost. The location is great for exploring and getting around. Be ready for street closures during summer when planning your activities.

Check-in was a mess
I had a frustrating check-in with a dude who seemed way too stressed. It was awkward, and he kind of snapped at another guest. The room was decent for the price, but they need to work on the staff's attitude. The location is a plus, and they had some tasty snacks in the lobby.

the receptionist was super respectful and quickly changed our room, which was a relief. the private parking option for $10 per night was handy, especially being close to everything on ste-catherine street. having a clean and comfy bed after exploring nearby spots was a nice touch.
